주요 결정사항
2023년 정기 학술대회
2023년 정기 학술대회는 2023년 6월 28일(수)-29일(목)에 개최하기로 결정했습니다. 2022년 학술대회를 전면 온라인으로 진행한 점을 고려하여, 2023년 학술대회는 오프라인으로 진행하기로 했으며, 장소는 한양대학교로 잠정 결정했습니다.
회칙 개정 추진
다음의 내용을 담은 회칙 개정안(구체적인 내용은 링크 참고)을 2023년 총회에서 의결 추진하기로 결정했습니다. (1) 현재의 정회원/학생회원 구분은 정회원/준회원 구분으로 수정하고, 회비 의무 없이 학회 소식을 구독하는 구독회원을 신설 (2) 총회에서 총회까지로 되어 있는 회계연도를 9월부터 8월까지로 변경
논문상 규정 개정 추진
현재의 논문상위원회를 논문상 추천 위원회와 논문상 심사 위원회로 분리하는 규정 개정안(구체적인 내용은 링크 참고)을 2023년 총회에서 의결 추진하기로 결정했습니다.
간사 수당 인상
학회 운영 재정이 안정적인 것으로 판단하여, 월 125,000원(연 1,500,000원)이었던 1인당 간사 수당을 월 150,000원(연 1,800,000원)으로 인상하기로 결정했습니다. 터무니없이 적은 액수의 수당에도 불구하고 헌신적으로 일해주고 있는 정원호 총무간사님과 강규태 편집간사님께 감사드립니다.
학회지 발송 방식 변경
학회지 발간비 절약을 위해 매해 초 회원들에게 학회지 우편발송 희망 의사를 묻고 명시적으로 희망 의사를 밝힌 회원에게만 학회지를 발송하기로 결정했습니다.

Berlin International Graduate School in Model and Simulation based Research (BIMoS)

is offering 3 PhD fellowships for next winter term (starting date towards the end of 2022).
Two of the main focus areas of Technische Universität Berlin are data science and integrated mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization. BIMoS, the highly interdisciplinary international graduate school of TU Berlin supports these lines of research with focus on data science and data-driven modeling and simulation with applications ranging from life sciences over information technology to engineering. BIMoS provides an international highly recognized and vivid research environment supervision by an interdisciplinary team and a rich lecture program.
BIMoS offers 3 PhD fellowships for outstanding students holding a master’s degree.
The ideal applicant has experience in the general research area of BIMoS and enjoys working in an interdisciplinary environment.
Beginning of financial support: autumn/winter 2022
Duration of support: 3 years
Application deadline: 30th September 2022

「위기 없는 혁명 : 코페르니쿠스 혁명을 중심으로」, 『과학철학』 23권 2호 (2020), 1-51쪽.
국문 초록
우리의 연구는 코페르니쿠스 혁명에 앞서 어떠한 위기도 존재하지 않았음을 보인다. 우리는 이러한 위기 없는 혁명을 설명하는 모형을 제안하는데, 이 모형에 따르면, 양립불가능한 패러다임들은 그들 사이의 충돌을 무시함으로써 공존하며 각자의 정상과학적인 연구를 통해 문제 풀이의 자원을 축적한다. 충분한 자원이 축적되면 그들 사이의 알려진 충돌들 중 오랫동안 방치됐던 문제를 해결함으로써 혁명을 출발시킨다. 이 모형은 코페르니쿠스 혁명뿐 아니라 다른 과학혁명에도 적용될 수 있다.
영문 초록
Our study shows that there was no crisis before the Copernican Revolution. We suggest a model to explain the revolution without crisis: firstly, incompatible paradigms coexist by ignoring conflicts between the paradigms and accumulate problem-solving resources by normal researches; secondly, after accumulation of sufficient resources, someone resolves the long-neglected but well-known conflicts between the paradigms and launches the revolution. This model can explain not only the Copernican Revolution but also other scientific revolutions.
